Mike Garrity Sr. bought this '70 TA to announce the return of his 30-year hiatus from drag racing. The car was purchased by him in 1996 and was powered by a 400. As Mike's interest in racing sharpened the urge to go faster heightened. Today, the TA is powered by a .030" over bore 455 and sports 72 cc chambered Edelbrock aluminum heads. This high compression charger weighs 3515 with driver and has excited onlookers with a 1/4 mile sprint of10.93 seconds at 123.80 mph.
