Wayne Green's 1966 GTO

Wayne Green is from Chesterfield, Virginia and is the proud owner of this 1966 LeMans (GTO option). His son Dwayne is the driver and has driven the car to a quick 10.91 second elapsed time, blistering the track at 123 mph. The engine is powered by a bored out 455 and runs #62 d-port heads--compression is around 12 to 1. This car is brutal during launch as the picture to the right depicts. Keeping the nose down nets a very respectable 1.42 second 60' time.
