Albert Wallace's 1962 Catalina

1962 Catalina Sport Coupe, "Yorktown Blue", with tri-tone blue, center horn button, 2 spoke steering wheel, (standard) non-Ventura interior, Dog Dish "caps". 389, 2bbl, with the "Slim Jim" transmission. This is an all original Southern California car and was built at the Southgate, CA. plant in March 1962.

The engine and tranny were rebuilt, an new radiator and suspension pieces added along with dual exhausts. Plans: to have the "very" original interior redone, new/better brakes, new/better transmission, rechrome bumpers, and a AM/FM radio conversion from factory AM radio.

The Catalina was bought at the "Pomona Swap Meet", Pomona, Ca., August 1999. Three people have owned it previosly.

Usage: daily driver

The owner comments,"I love this "Plain Jane" Pontiac. Some people ask if it is a "SuperDuty" because of it's..."sleeper" look."
