Randy Belahar's 1970 Grand Prix

Year: 1970 Model: Grand Prix Exterior/Interior: dark green with dark green interior Engine: Pontiac 467 with 9.5 :1 compression (1976 455), Q-jet, Performer RPM intake, 6X heads, Comp Cams XE 284H cam, 345 hp and 434 ft-lbs at the wheels. [446 hp and 592 ft-lbs with 150 hp shot of nitrous.] Car turns low 12s at the strip with a best of 12.11 @ 111 (open headers) and 11.55 @117.8 on nitrous (and a few gallons of race gas mixed in to save the pistons), through the mufflers.

Randy bought the GP in 1996 and it was powered by a 400 at that time. The car is driven regularly during the summer months and is bracket raced on the weekends.
