Bill and Nikki Grahofke's 66 Lemans

Year: 1966; Model: LeMans; Exterior: burgandy with black interior; Engine: original 326 superceded by a .030 over 400 built by Jim Lehart, Central Valley Machine Service. A mild rebuild with cast pistons, 7J2 Heads (1.96/1.77 valves) a 3 angle valve job milled .010 for 8.4 to 1 compression; Cam: Comp Cams XE 256 .447 intake .455 exhaust, 212/218 duration at .050." Intake: '69 stock cast iron unit with a Holley Spreadbore 650 vacuum secondary; Ignition: Accel Blueprint distibutor and Super Stock coil/wires. Exhaust: cast iron with Pypes 2 1/2" "X" system with Summit Turbo Muffler; Transmission: factory ST-300 with 3.08 posi. Buick Rally Rims (15X7) with 225 60/15 up front and 245 60/15 on the rear. The car sports a GTO hood.

Future plans include dealing with the exterior and treating some rusting areas, detailing the suspension and upgrading to a TH-350 transmission.

Usage: The engine was built to cruise around with and to enjoy the good time with my wife and kids.
